Juniper Hills forefathers Plecid released three cassette tapes between 1986 and 1988—and disembodied songs in 1989. Some of this material was reissued by various obscure indie labels in the '90s and into the '00s (generally unauthorized). The song most recently added below, "I Hate Wells," recounts a Sunday school romance punctuated by dreamy gazes, dirt on somebody's smile, and the vagaries of a menstruating girl whose wiles included (stair)wells.
